Gosh, are we really down to the last possible 5 DLCs for Planet Zoo?
Scenery-wise, this does make a lot of sense for a pack. As for the species, the black bear and elk are both good choices, and either mountain goat or bighorn sheep (personally I prefer the latter) would seem plausible as well. I'm not sure if Frontier would do a sea otter, as there'd be a lot of new animations, but a harbor seal would be another option (essentially a clone of gray seal). Given the recent inclusion of the mute swan, I could also see Frontier trying to add a duck or goose species in a future pack, so something like a Canada goose would be a plausible choice in this case too. As far as birds go, hummingbirds don't excite me too much, and aren't a very common zoo animal, but I'd be happy to get *any* birds at this point. I feel as though frontier could be more likely to give us something like a garter snake in the exhibit box though.Q1: Pacific Northwest Pack
Animals: American Black Bear, Mountain Goat, Roosevelt Elk, Sea Otter, Anna's, Black-chinned, Calliope & Rufous Hummingbirds (WE)
Theme: Pacific Northwest indigenous themed scenery
The tortoise is very plausible, and a baboon is certainly a widely requested species (I'd LOVE it if we got another monkey!). I'd be very surprised to get all *three* of those birds, but at least the grey (or black) crowned crane would be a very great choice for the game, and a very common species in zoos. I'd be surprised for a "Safari" pack to only include a singular ungulate species- instead of the shoebill something like a kudu could be the better/more likely option. A chameleon is certainly a logical option, however following your hummingbird example and the precedent of the butterflies, then I'd personally like to see us get "African starlings" in the walk-through, with the golden-breasted, superb, emerald, and violet-backed.Q2: Safari Animal Pack
Animals: African Spurred Tortoise, Gerenuk, Grey Crowned Crane, Hamadryas Baboon, Honey Badger, Secretary Bird, Shoebill & Jackson's Chameleon (E)
Great choices, adding a pheasant species in the game would be really cool, and I think Frontier would do a really great job with the markhor! I'm not sold on the idea of adding two more bear species to the game though, so if American black makes it in then I suspect they'd pick something else instead of spectacled/Andean bear- for instance adding a clone of the llama (e.g., the alpaca or vicuna)Q3: Mountains Pack
Animals: Gelada, Himalayan Monal, Markhor, Spectacled Bear & Chinese Giant Salamander (E)
Theme: Tibetan scenery
Rhea, ocelot, and cavy would be great! As a big primate fan, howler monkeys and squirrel monkeys (especially the former) would be very exciting choices, although I don't think Frontier could pull off animations for the squirrel monkey easily. While I love callitrichids, I don't think they are well-suited for the walk-through exhibit, if meerkats and armadillos can be full exhibit animals I see no justification to not give the golden lion tamarin (or a similar species) the same treatment.Q4: Latin America Animal Pack
Animals: Black Howler Monkey, Common Squirrel Monkey, Greater Rhea, Ocelot, Patagonian Mara, South American Coati, Southern Tamandua, Common Marmoset, Cotton-top Tamarin, Emperor Tamarin, Golden Lion Tamarin & Pygmy Marmoset (WE)
I personally prefer the Spectacled Bear over American Black Bear since the Spectacled Bear is the only bear species of SA, while for NA bears we already have Grizzly and Polarif American black makes it in then I suspect they'd pick something else instead of spectacled/Andean bear- for instance adding a clone of the llama
Do we really need Tibetan scenery, I just found someone made the Bhutan Temple as Red Panda exhibit on Youtube, probably what we have now are good enough to make Himalayan architecturesTheme: Tibetan scenery
The Squirrel Monkey can use the model and animation of Capuchin, but I don't think Frontier would offer so many monkeys. Generally the Frontier only releases one Primate species ever year since 2020, the only exception is 2021 when the BAW Ruffed Lemur was released through the Anniversary update.although I don't think Frontier could pull off animations for the squirrel monkey easily.
A Grecoroman classic architecture theme would be really nice too :3What themes do you guys think are necessary to the game and we still don't have right now, such as the North American native theme, anything else? Maybe Middle East and Mongolian themes? What about the museum theme?
