Planet Zoo Planet Zoo!

The animals are indeed well done. However, I see it like @David Matos Mendes. A package that comes with a Moroccan/Egyptian/North African theming but has only one species from that region doesn't make any sense. I would have taken bat-eared fox and some Ndebele or Somali or Massai theming instead.

Actually @zoomaniac it would rather be two species from the North African region like you have mentioned earlier, if one were to include the Scarab Beetle. (Not to be rude or anything, but hey that’s just my own opinion)

I don't feel attacked ;). But I must still throw in the word "objection" here. As far as I know (and at least wikipedia underlines this), Sacred Scarab Beetles can be found in mostly all arid and semiarid regions of Africa, they are not limited to the North (Sahara/Sahel/Maghreb region) as fennec foxes are...:D:p

That is true, but what I was saying however was the fact that the Fennec Fox simply wasn’t the only animal found in the North African deserts going to be added into this new DLC. Even though your statement now does make a little bit more sense than what I had posted on the thread earlier.

I'm so behind. I just bought it but I haven't even made a zoo yet which has included the South East Asian animals yet. I should try and play the game more often I guess.

I'm in the same boat. I think the biggest thing is it just takes so much longer to set up zoo infrastructure and deal with exhibits and welfare than in ZT2, it's much harder to get things rolling quickly.

To be honest, this is my biggest gripe with Planet Zoo. Even in Sandbox it takes half an hour to get a look at an animal. Why in Sandbox Mode I have to 'realistically' wait for a keeper to decide to carry a small box containing, apparently, a rhino across the zoo before I can have a look at it, but a building or tree appears in a second with two clicks I will never understand..!

I miss the days when back in Zoo Tycoon 2, you could just place the animal down instantly - even outside a habitat and watch as hundreds of guests start freaking out over an escaped Koala.

Just speed up the game when the keeper is carrying the animal, it shortens it to only a few minutes.

Indeed... it was enormously helpful being able to move animals around with just a click, was very easy to fix problems. PZ you're waiting for the keepers after you make the decision.

I plan on playing PZ all weekend to try out that new DLC! I haven't had much time to play in a while. Technically, I have had time but I've been filling it with other activities lol.

I've finally gotten some inspiration so for the past week I've been doing about an exhibit per day to start rounding out my current zoo. I have one full zoo that I completed a few months ago but I'm happier with this one so far
