Side note, is it possible that Frontier has been doing these streams to avoid leaks? They accidentally leaked 3/4 of the Aquatic pack and the Sun Bear in that infamous unlisted stream, then the whole Africa pack (plus the capybara and currently-unaccounted for tree lobster) was datamined last year in April, and then they started doing the pre-DLC streams with North America.
 
Yeah, everything that was datamined aside from the European Pack props was cut content, it just so happens that one of the cut things was also one of the most wanted animals by the community (Capybara), so they decided to retroactively add it in via the DLC after Europe. As for if the leaks played a part in the stream's invention, Frontier's been teasing their DLC's shortly after announcing the coinciding update since the game's launch, way before modders started datamining all their stuff. The only unique thing that's happened this time around is that they teased it beforehand instead of afterwards (and that the 'tease' they showed is arguably too vague), which I don't think is a direct result of leaking, and may be a result of just experimentation or the DLC tying into an unexpected new mechanic from the update more than usual.
 
Ok, I re-watched a vod of the stream, and they said to keep an eye on the Planet Zoo social media accounts for more hints/clues. Maybe they were vague on purpose?
 
I hope that if it is a grasslands DLC, it will be more based on the environment rather than, "African Savannah" or something similar.

Honestly not bad. All the big cats are now represented, Przewalski's Horse is good, Siamang fills the much requested gibbon slot, and the Scimitar-horned Oryx is well known, even if another antelope. Axolotl is kinda meh for me, the inclusion is obvious in terms of popularity and conservation, but it's basically going to just be a reskin of the Newt we got last pack. Really would like to see more diversity in the exhibit animal roster; as I've said before we really got more invertebrates than necessary.

A great pack - 'Conservation' pack is really 'whole bunch of stuff the forums wanted' pack but I'm not complaining. :D
 
Well, shoot. Looks like my “Endangered Animal Pack” idea happened (sort of). Here are my thoughts on the choices:
Amur Leopard: RIP African Leopard, but I’m glad this iconic big cat is now part of the PZ roster in some form. Also this might be our first critically endangered DLC animal (not counting the anniversary lemur).
Przewalski’s Horse: Welcome back, buddy! Now Planet Zoo has six perissodactyls, two equines, another “legacy species” (animals that have been in both Zoo Tycoon and ZT2), and most importantly, another hoofed mammal from greater Asia!
Scimitar Horned Oryx: Great to have this one back, but it might feel a little redundant with the Gemsbok (oh who am I kidding? They’ve been together before, it’ll be fine).
Siamang: GIBBONS!!!!! Not the kind most zoos have, but I’ll take it! These might be my favorites of the pack.
Axolotl: Heh. Called it. Not even mad that this is our fourth exhibit amphibian in a row.
All in all, pretty decent little pack, if a bit heavy on the Asian wildlife (I’d include some more wildlife from other continents if this were an animal pack). Also, this pack releases one day before my birthday, just like how the Africa Pack released on my birthday last year as a perfect closure to my year-and-a-half-long rant about how there were no African rhinos in Planet Zoo :p.

They most likely will. Probably also compatible with the ASCO and the Malayan Tapir (who are also compatible with the orangutan).
But if there’s any mixes I’m hoping for, it’s the wild horses with the camels.
