The base game without aviaries? Penguin as the undisputed #1, Flamingos, Cranes, basically the bigger species are all viable

I agree. It's quite odd that nothing has been said about penguins yet just about every other typical zoo animal has been confirmed.
 
Ok, now one thing that irks me a bit: Every animal comes in with a name...I know they want to make each specimen a unique individual, but naming animals should be a purely optional thing.

You don't have to give them a name, so why does it matter?
 
I asked at the frontier forums, and apparently, they all come with an already chosen name...you can rename them though, but still naming spiders and frogs will never be for me...but that it's just my personal thing others might like it and that's fine

No, he and several other people are at a convention playing alpha
(And the tapir in ZT2 was a Baird's tapir...although the original ZT had Malayan)

The game isn't even out to the public and people are already building these masterpieces. Amazing.

Ah ok. It makes sense because I remember looking at the scenery options and there were a lot of animal statues. I’m guessing they will have one for each animal maybe?

Probably cause tropical terrarium animals are popular, and it allows players to make cohesive areas. Still, I hope they add a bigger selection. I'm sure they will, even if as paid DLC. Planet Coaster has quite a bit of DLC, and Planet Zoo is getting a lot of hype so I bet it will be popular enough to get a lot of DLC of its own. I think desert terrariums would be really cool.
