Yes, the Parliamentary debate appears to have been secured by BIAZA and is ref re-opening.I believe the debate is regarding re-opening where as this petition is about funding.
Yes, as I said above - generally a swathe through middle England, heaviest from Twycross to Chester as would be expected from their media presence. Quite low to very low participation in cites like Doncaster, Bristol, London, Edinburgh, Oxford, Nottingham, Leicester, Cambridge, Peterborough etc. They just tipped the 100,000 mark, I see the area around Twycross is the heaviest signed

I've been watching the categories as the votes mount up and their percentages continually change (upwards) and some constituencies which were darker, drop to a paler colour not because their percentage of signatures drop, but because the parameters change.I see Hamerton's constituency also has 100 more signatures than the constituencies around it
Also, the colour coding on the map is a bit strange. Delyn, in North-East Wales has 289 signatures, yet is a tone darker than North-West Cambridgeshire, which has 331. Not sure how that works...
I think the problem with London is that there is only really one zoo and no-one from the area really goes there, whereas zoos in the countryside are much more part of the constituency's identity, especially larger ones like Chester and Twycross. The constituency with the most signatures however is Waveney is Norfolk, which is near Banham, Africa Alive etc.
Okay guys I did had an email just now and unfortunately the petition Let zoo's and wildlife parks Reopen as soon as possible has been rejected and that is not what we're looking for so we're now going to Plan B which will be a new petition and it's called
Allow Zoos and Wildlife attractions to reopen with social distancing in place
