Are you sure you don't mean Royal Burgers Zoo?

(royal) Burgers' Zoo is in Arnhem, the Netherlands. If you are unfamiliar with it, you have some catching up to do ;)

Facebook definitely says"Royal Burgery" but presumably it's a misspelling, didn't know its the same. Anyhow I've never been and don't know anything about it although I have heard it mentioned.

Been at Port Lympne today.

Some sad news I'm afraid although couple of bits of happy news.

Sad news,
Over the winter, one of the two remaining Margay's has passed away, leaving only Amber on show.
Setanta, one of the Giraffes has died.

Happy News:

Przewalski horse foal has been born and another is due to be born soon.
New male Red Panda has joined the collection.
Meekats offshow for winter, Banded Mongoose in their exhibit, but exhibit for them being done down by the Red Panda, so when Mongoose move there, Meerkats will go back to current exhibit.
Cannock (Clouded Leopard) has returned from France and is on show near the Basecamp.
Unnamed species considered pregnant with multiple offspring exhibit soon, can't say what, but first time in a while these have bred, will ask keeper in morning if I can say what it is, and if so will post.

The bottom area of the park is reopen to you can walk down to see the African Wild Dog, Back of the Tigers and also the Bison.

Might be a couple of other things to add if I remember.

Just a minor correction, Ambah the margay passed away last year, the only margay now is a female named Tepin. :)

Does anybody know if Port Lympne still hold Eastern Bongo and Lowland Anoa? I noticed zootierliste states both species are still in the collection but could not locate them on the park map. The website also mentions that they hold three rhino species however only the Blacks are shown on the map. Are the Whites and Indians still in the collection, and if so, where? Thanks in advance.

Only Howletts has Bongo, not port Lympne
There are no Anoa

White Rhino they have 2, one in the exhibit behind leopard creek and the other on the Safari drive just past the spectacled bear exhibit on the left.

Opposite that one on the right is a greater one horned rhino called orys.

There are multiple exhibits for Black Rhino.

Hi, the Bongos are now over at Howletts (with what used to be their enclosure now home to dwarf forest buffalo) and neither park houses Lowland Anoa these days. You can only see the Indian rhino (a single male called Orys) and the white rhinos (two boys called Zuko and Kifaru) from the safari trucks.
Beat me to it :)

although worth saying you can’t actually see the one horned rhino unless you do an Indian rhino experience as his paddock is not publicly viewable on the Safari drive, unless he is in his wallow and you get lucky

0:1 dwarf(Congo?) buffalo has been born & needs a new name
