Played rubbish and won, hopefully turning point for us (Liverpool).

Not sure if the international break is a good thing or bad thing now?

Every year people say this, every year people doubt and every year the pundits say 'it will be this time they fall out.' We never, ever do and they never ever learn ;) . If we would have it would have been between 2011 and 2013.

When Wenger leaves, I expect you to struggle massively just like Utd have lost their way.
 
I doubt that. Wenger will not appoint a donkey to replace him and unlike UTD we have a relatively young squad.
 
Not strictly Premier League but it features a Premier League side

This weekend is F.A. cup weekend and Stoke City are playing Wolverhampton Wanderrs.

Wolves have won the previous 7 ties so hopefully Stoke's luck will change.

On 15th February 1890 Stoke lost 4-0 at Wolves in the cup. Stoke protsted abut the state of the pitch and the weather conditions (driving sleet). The F.A. upheld the protest and ordered a re-match. The result was Wolves 8 Stoke 0. Sometimes it is better to say nothing. :p
 
Ooops, I completely forgot that Stoke won 1-0 at Wolves the last time they met in the cup. :eek:
 
So at half time it is Sttoke City 1 Manchester United 0. However I can't see this being a home win. United's new signing Mark Clattenburg is having a great game.
 
I love a footballer with a sense of humour. stoke goalie LeeGrant visiteda school in Utttoxeterand one child asked who he supportedasa boy.

Grant replied, "Manchester United,like any good southener."
 
Mark Hughes says, "The game was done in the first half. The manner of the goals we conceded was not good enough at any level."

I wonder what he does with his time on the training ground because this problem has been around for 18 months.
 
I just saw furthur proof that there is one rule book for Manchester United,and one rule book for everyone else. Elbow someone in the face in a United shirt and get away with it.

In some ways I don't blame him,given that the player he elbowed stamped in his head a few minutes before.Both of them should get a retro red card!
 
Yesterday I went to see a parade featuring the 1972 Stoke City League Cup winning side. People are saying it's nostalgia.

I consider it a rehersal for the F.A. Cup winning Stoke side to tour the city next year, and for the Champions League trophy winning Stoke side to tour the city in 2019.
