He? Nice misgender. Why people have problem?
The old Pallas Cat exhibit maybe. Idk if to trust this source as its kind of unprofessional in the way he has presented the information. But I thought Bronx had Sand Cat behind the scenes in the last few years, according to the last USDA report.
Sand cats are featured in a short segment in Season 5 Episode 3 of “The Zoo”. The segment documents the quarantine period of two 40-day-old sand cats, who are transferred to the Bronx Zoo to be used as future program animals.
In the episode, staff explain that the WCS was also considering participating in the sand cat breeding program. I don’t know if the sand cats featured in the show would be the same individual(s) as the ones apparently at Prospect Park, as I thought it was unusual for program animals to be held in public exhibits.
Same cats that were at bronx on telly programme.
