Finding this tool on the forum is the best thing i have done on here,as now i don`t have to plough my way through so many meaning less and pointless threads on the U.K part of the forum.

Thank you very much i know we don`t always see eye to eye on subjects but i do enjoy the discussion some of your post provoke,at least with me blocking people it means i will still me about posting on the forum instead of walking away from it which i was on the verge of.I am glad for you.
Thats a risk i will have to take but it was getting to the point of that or walking away from the forum that I enjoy so much,so with much regret I took the decision to ignore people and if I want to find out what people that i`ve blocked have said i can always look while I`m logged out but from what I`ve seen of the posts from them while logged out I will just be wasting my time, but atleast I can enjoy the forum how I want to without worrying about reading stuff which means nothing to me.Don't forget if your ignoring someone you may also be missing out on information they have said and then find yourself repeating that without even realising. The ignore button is helpful in its own right but it should be used with good reason.
I cannot find the original thread that described this function, Does it also block PM's?

Why i don`t think you`ve ever started a completely pointless thread or asked a realy stupid question which has no logic to it,also seen as i`m replying to this also means i`ve seen this reply to respond to,becausevthe people i`ve blocked i cannot read their post at all.Hi zoogiraffe (just interested as to whether or not you'll reply)
I see where you're coming from, but generally the people who get ignored don't really have anything valid/factual/good to say lol.Don't forget if your ignoring someone you may also be missing out on information they have said and then find yourself repeating that without even realising. I don`t mind reading posts with people that i`ve blocked because as you say they normally have nothing worthwhile to say,in many case it makes the thread one hell of alot shorter to read for me.I see where you're coming from, but generally the people who get ignored don't really have anything valid/factual/good to say lol.

I would imagine it would have been but luckily or un-lucky for you I`ve not blocked you.Sorry, couldn't resist (although it would have been embarassing if you hadn't have replied).
