On October 18th, it was announced that on October 15th, (1.2) American bison have arrived from the Wind Cave National Park in South Dakota. The bison are now off-exhibit.

Have you heard? The herd has come home!
Great to see another zoo get there hands on some pure bison! Hopefully more pure bison will come in to eventually replace the hybrids that we currently have (although that would probably take a very, very long time).
