Ripley's Aquarium of Canada Ripley's Aquarium of Canada News

Last I was there was May 2022 - there was a pool near the end with the rays that you could touch, but that is the only one I remember. Not sure if there was more previously. That was my only visit.

Ripley's has a exhibit called Dragons coming this fall so far the only description is
Get ready to dive into a realm where reality meets legend!
Brace yourself for an unforgettable journey where mythical creatures spring to life in the most unexpected forms! Hatching this fall!
I'm guessing it'll just end up featuring Leafy and Weedy Seadragons maybe Dragonets but the current advertisement features a reptilian eye and just think it would be would if they got Komodo Dragons before the Toronto Zoo. Highly unlikely because they have no exhibits for terrestrial animals but crazier things have happened.

I suspect it might be animatronics- the italicized wording is almost verbatim to wording used in Roger Williams Park Zoo's current temporary "Dragons and Mythical Creatures" exhibit of 42 animatronic creatures.

I do not think it would be a Komodo dragon. In my visits from previous years, there weren't lots of terrestrial exhibits. I think they will have Arowana, and Arapaima like these long fish. I agree with the seadragons. Some could be just fake animals.
