Riverview Park & Zoo Riverview Park and Zoo

A wallaby joey has begun poking its head out of mom's pouch.

The zoo's female Goeldi's monkey, Giselle, has passed away.

Goober? Ollie? Most likely?
Goober is retired and castrated some time back. Ollie has been gone for years. He had a baby in Calgary last year with Eva, another former TZ camel.

Jamarcus was castrated to become the Outreach rep.

Zip is the TZ breeding male and he has three girls to keep him busy.

So in all seriousness, what individual would be a good replacement for Gobi?
They might be in for a bit of a wait in that case, unless they purchase a male from the private sector. The only facility I can think off off the top of my head that *might* have a surplus male older than a year would be African lion Safari, however their herd is all white animals, so I'm not sure if riverview would be interested.

I can't recall which but Granby or Zoo Sauvage had a young male last year.

Two male river otters, Boldt and Lawrence, have joined Melissa and Splish. All four are now on exhibit together. Should make for a very lively exhibit.
