On December 22nd, the zoo announced that renovations to the primate building were completed and the building is back open to the public.

On March 13th, the zoo announced that due to an altercation between Meadow and one of the facility's male otters, Meadow sustained a leg injury that caused an amputation of said limb. The zoo also announced they moved Meadow on display into the west outdoor primate exhibit.

Between April 2nd and April 28th, the zoo closed due to an ice storm that severely impacted the facility and surrounding park, though did not lead to any injuries/deaths among animals or staff.
