Just seen this rather interesting article - this year Sedgwick County Zoo, along with the Endangered Wolf Centre in Missouri and Wolf Conservation Centre in New York, have provided Mexican grey wolf pups for a fostering project where captive-born pups are placed into the dens of wild wolves on the New Mexico/Arizona border.

I didn't know the zoo has partulas. How many US zoos keep them? I've only ever seen one species in the US, kept at the Roger Williams Zoo which has since gone out of them afaik.

I'm pretty sure the St. Louis Zoo has them, but I'm not sure about any others.
 
From my understanding Michael is genetically very valuable. Does anything know if/where the zoo will be receiving any females to join a new pride?

There will be staggered admission and limited crowd capacity. Only 1,000 people a day will be let in (will be 2,000 starting June 1), tickets must be purchased online, and the tickets are timed-arrival (but no limit on how long visitors can stay). Masks are strongly encouraged and will be sold on zoo grounds. Paths are generally one-way, the number of people in buildings will be monitored by staff, and (most notably) the great ape exhibits will remain closed due to potential transmission risk
