I've been told that the Chelodina mccordi colony in Singapore has finally had offspring recently, does anyone how many had hatched?
Any idea what’s being built / renovated in the Primate Kingdom - between the islands for Colobus and De Brazza’s monkeys?
Is it meant for L'Hoest's monkey? I could only see Colobus monkeys in the island but no L’Hoest’s.
And are there still Javan Langurs free-roaming around the area?
what happened to the other L'Hoest? did she die or get exported?A back of house facility is being built.
There's only one L'Hoest's Monkey left and she is off show.
There are still free ranging Javan Langurs, but only a small group of 2 or 3 I believe.

One of the Chinese Alligators was moved to reptopia. The Manatees that were at Forest Lodge have been exported I believe.
The Chinese Alligators should still be in the enclosure (they have not left the collection at least).
The only birds in Tortoise Shellter are a single Wattled Starling and a single Blue-spotted Wood Dove. All other birds have either died out or moved to Bird Paradise.
And yes Rainforest KidzWorld closed today. The new KidzWorld should open in a couple of weeks time.
notable updates from today's trip:
1. the manatees from Forest Lodge arent there anymore. are they in River Wonders now?
Do you have a species list for the Forest Lodge pond? Also remember seeing pacu and catfish in itAnd the collection in there is already pretty remarkable, with fully-grown blue mahseer, some of the largest red-tailed golden arowanas I've seen, ornate & leucistic alligator gars and bulky pig-nosed turtles.

Where is this forest lodge pond? I don't remember seeing it when I visited the zoo.Too many to name. I'm aware that it has sort of become a dumping ground for most of the 'additional' large fish in the collection. Of course there are the ubiquitous ones like redtail cats, pacus / tambaqui, fei feng, kong ming, etc.
I remember a few medium motoro rays in the past too, but those have most likely been transferred to either the River Safari / Fragile Forest.
Always found it humorous that the manatees were introduced there, considering it was historically an ornamental koi pond during the 2000s.
Friends and I joked that river dolphins or possibly even an Orca calf would replace them once they were gone.
