The Chinese Giant Salamanders were in the Reptile House. They had problems with the tank leaking and they were often off exhibit. I'm not sure if they still hold the species behind the scenes, but they are no longer on display. Quite impressive, yet rather "ugly", creatures. I was always quite fond of them.
