The Stone Zoo is a "sister" facility to the nearby Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, MA. Both are managed by Zoo New England. This zoo has been mentioned before in the threads concerning its future plans:

I spoke to a keeper at Stone Zoo not long ago about the up coming renovations to both Stone and Franklin Park Zoo and was told large exhibits are part of their masterplan as well as short term plans. A Sawmill Creek exhibit featuring grizzly bears and possibly moose is part of the renovations at Stone Zoo as well as a new kids area. Franklin Park Zoo is redoing their Africa section adding new species like Nile crocs as well as a restaurant looking into the lion exhibit. Also a new asia exhibit is being planned and the gibbons going to Stone zoo may end up going to Franklin to join orangs, tigers, red panda and komodo dragons. Also after just redoing the indoor part of the gorilla exhibit there are plans to redo the outside part.

I'll post under this thread since Stone Zoo, does not have a forum. Few weeks ago, the Masters of Flight: Birds of Prey, opened at Stone Zoo. It's a BoP show, showcasing various BoP, during a few shows a few times a day. The show is free along with admission. I posted under here to announce that Stone Zoo will be opening two new exhibits this summer, Whooping Crane and Sandhill Crane. The exhibit will take over the former Duck Pond, near the cabin in Yukon Creek. For a small zoo, for them to be getting Whooping Crane, is rather amazing, at least I think so. I know, just birds, but what awesome creatures they are. The two crane species will make six species displayed between Franklin Park and Stone Zoo, which are both run by ZNE. This will make three species at Stone Zoo (Black-necked, Whooping and Sandhill) and the other three at Franklin Park (Wattled, Siberian and Red-Crowned). Not huge news, but I think it'll be nice to have these two species on display at Stone Zoo. The area where they will be going is just over 1/3 an acre. The demolition is done and construction has started. See how things turn out in a month or so.
 
A male Snow Leopard from Lake Superior Zoo, Harry, is at Stone Zoo to breed with resident female Kira Victoria. He is still in quarantine.
 
All 3 of the Boston Marathon runners who were running to raise money for Zoo New England are all safe after the terrible tragedy that occured today.
 
I've forgotten to write about the Aussie Adventure Exhibt. It is, extremely underwhelming. Moving animals out, to replace them in practically the same exhibits, stinks. A box is still a box, no matter the temporary wooden wall, painted murals or wallpaper backgrounds. They've recycled animals from Franklin Park Zoo. Don't get me wrong, it is always nice to see the Keas, but they're not from Oz. A lone wallaby, is nothing too great to get excited over. Feeding budgies, boring. Koalas themselves, are boring animals. Sleeping much of the day away. The exhibit seemed "rushed", even though they announced it in late 2012. The only cool thing were the warthogs in quarantine/holding, which could be seen over the fence. They're for Franklin Park Zoo, though, I have no idea where they'd go.
 
The Aussie Adventures temporary exhibit ended yesterday, September 3rd.
The colobus monkey babies were named Mianzi and Jambo.
 
Kira and Harry the snow leopards were both on-exhibit today. Hopefully, cubs are produced and will be on exhibit this summer.
