Confirmation that all 3 of Warsaw's 2012 litter (B18/2/2012 Iban X Ratu) have now been placed - As previously mentioned, female, Diana will move to Osnabruck later in the Spring. Male, Barry will transfer to Brno next week and the 2nd male, Dandy aka Denar will go to Fota when there enclosure is ready.. This will just leave their mother, Ratu at Warsaw for now.

It appears that 'Dandy' has actually gone to Zoo Brno and he arrived successfully on the 21st March. The former male at Brno, 'Dua' was due to arrive at Drayton Manor on the 18th March but I can't find any indication as to whether he has left.

Further details released about the new pair at Tierpark Berlin. Both are now on show following there arrival on 23rd December

If it helps - isolating the tigers details from the blurb - the male is "Harfan" (born 2008 in Taman Safari Indonesia) and the female is "Mayang" (born 2011 in Zoo Jambi Indonesia)
You might remember Zoo Jambi being in the news last August as a Sumatran Tiger "Peter" and a couple of Lions died from Strychnine poisoning (basically Rat Poison)

New holder: Osnabruck now have 1.1 - male is 'Argo' from Champrepus (Chandra x Paco) and the female is 'Diana' from Warsaw (Ratu x Iban). Argo arrived today (28/03/14) whilst, Diana arrived on 25/03/14.
The Berlin zoos director Dr. Blaskiewitz and his Mammal curatorial staff's feat! It opens up a new alley to Indonesian zoos and the all important cross fertilization of ideas on zoo design, conservation breeding and in situ zoo animal management and conservation!
Aside, two new bloodlines for European zoos!!!

Good to see a new pair has been formed quickly - do you know when they arrived?
The female cub (Mia aka Mai-Mai) born at Aalborg last September (Batu X Kim) has died following an accident over the weekend

Male IBAN (*2000 AMNEVILLE) from Zoo Frankfurt was put to sleep yesterday because of problems with his liver and kidneys.
