Superbowl Prediction

ahahahahhaahhaha, have you ever even met a rugby player? Do you even know what rugby is?!

"Yeah our sport is all wrestling and bear hugs. Its like if the Teletubbies invented a ball game". Exactly what a rugby player would say

Uuuuuhh yeah a majority of my friends play it and our school won a state championship two years ago [and football this year].. My friends were the one's who said that it wasn't real tackling. How on earth could you people even think football was a soft sport. It's dangerous as hell! Rules had to be brought in to stop people from getting concussions every week.

rugby for twelve year olds isn't proper rugby....

In my opinion i think there both the same. Rough, tough and down dirty sport.

Agreed. I've never played rugby but I'm sure there have been a fair share of bad injuries in both. Out of all sports (that I can think of), rugby, American football, and hockey are probably the most violent.

To me, it doesn't matter which sport is the toughest because I'm not foolish enough to play either of them.

I would have to say that soccer is the most dangerous. Both to the players and to the fans. I say this because of all the reports of violence that break out at these games. We're talking about riots in the bleachers, stampedes onto the fields, and spectator attacks on the players. There's even been murders committed in the stands and on the field. I've also heard reports of players getting killed at home because they lost a game.

Well, I was half-right in my prediction. It will be the Ravens vs the 49ers.

Not going to predict who will be the winner of the Super Bowl because the teams are too evenly matched.

I have the Greenbay Packers beating the Denver Broncos 30-24 because Aaron Rodgers is just too good, there is no other way to put it. Being a huge Chicago Bears fan I have seen my fair share of Rodgers do what ever he wants on the field.

For the BCS title game tonight I have Alabama defeating Notre Dame 24-14 mainly because of bama's huge o-line opening holes for Eddie Lacy and T.J. Yeldon. Roll Tide Roll!

Roll Tide by the way.

I graduated from Alabama in 2010 and my sister is a current student.

Since none of the teams I usually root for are in I don't really care but I'm going to root for the 49ers since they seem to be the underdogs. By the way since no one seemed to answer you, epickoala, the Yankees are a New York Baseball team. Haha

Here is Birmingham using football and local culture to promote the zoo in a commerical Since trails has opened they let Bulwagi (elephant) and Kumar (malayan tiger) "pick" the Iron Bowl every year (Alabama's mascot is of course an Elephant and Auburn's is a Tiger)

Ask Jesse Williams.

Rugby is a cool sport but the specialized bodies and large sizes of football players basically require the pads.
if I knew who Jesse Williams was....

Disregarding the rugby vs American football friendly, what does your post above even mean? ("...the specialized bodies and large sizes of football players basically require the pads.")

Jessie Williams is a kid from Australia that ended up playing of Alabama the past two years. He is from Melbourne.

Rugby and American Football are different as far as tackles, takedowns, body use, and the size and specialization of the participants. Full contact competitive football requires pads. Also factor in the American propensity for suing. ha
