Zooboy28 - this kinda thing doesn't happen in NSW, so come up here. They probably do that in Victoria to pay for the extra heating they need in winter.

I've never seen it in NZ, but I have overseas (possibly in Australia, I can't remember)I just came back from the supermarket and had to put a gold coin in the trolley to get it out of the stack, sort of like the trolleys in airports. Do you have to 'make a deposit' to get a trolley in the supermarket in NZ or in America or Europe folks?
Don't you guys have enough Kiwis already?

what?! That's just stupid. Why are Australians so backwards, you have to wonder? The other thing that annoys me is that you have to spend X amount of money to use eftpos, sometimes up to $20!
I can't believe I had to do this too, how ridiculous. I've never seen this in NZ or at any supermarkets in Europe, although I have seen it at airports. The other thing that annoys me is that you have to spend X amount of money to use eftpos, sometimes up to $20! I thought we were moving towards a cash-less society?
yeah but there zooboy will just walk round behind the guy when he's busy talking to someone else, and eat the food while he's not looking....Wait till you go to a Chinese restaurant: many don't take card at all, especially the ones in the food court.

Happy Easter!! To all those who celebrate anyway.

What is Easter, if not just a four day weekend?
I don't get any days off.
But next payday will be enjoyable!

The Germans are lucky. They get to have a month-long vacation.
What is Easter, if not just a four day weekend?
