RSCC has, I believe, the only New Guinea Singing Dogs in Britain..
In 2002 I saw Chousingha at both Paris zoos (Vincennes and Jardin des Plantes) and I seem to remember (West) Berlin have also had them in the recent past so that's at least five.
only 3 collections have kept Chousingha outside india, Howletts, Port lympne and paris (the latter still have them) The ones at the aspinall parks died out because of lack of introduced blood, and the fact that John Aspinall didn't like to share exclusive species
They do indeed have a Palm Civet but it`s an Owston`s Palm Civet not a Common Palm Civet.RSCC has Palm Civet, Saw one In august!

The last female Chousingha passed away in 2006 in Berlin Zoo, I was very lucky to see her in 2005, she has shared an enclosure with Nilgai antelopes next to the Elephant-gate entrance and the last of its kind in Europe died this year in Jardin des Plantes.
Edinburgh-too have the only Giant Panda in UK.
Belfast's spot necked otters, Hamerton's Malayan tiger and Paignton's West Caucasian tur
It was RSCC which has received the Malayan tigers![]()
