Toddy and Zoos.dk

A word file attached to an e-mail would be great. But you can also just copy and paste the whole thing into an e-mail, and send it like that.

The photo is of Samson, the male gorilla in Givskud Zoo and Safari. I took it this summer :)

Well done jonathon excellent review, toddy how do we go about doing a zoo review for your excellent site and keep it simple for me i'm no Bill Gates!

Kiang, I just wrote a review and then sent it in an email to Toddy.

Would you like to do the Edinburgh review Kiang? You will get to the zoo more than me. I have some good pictures if you'd like to use them.

Just describe the enclosures and exhibits in the zoo, how they are for the animals, the visitors etc. Highlight if there is anything special in the zoo, and include comments on how this zoo is like to visit as a zoo-fan. Try and read to reviews already online at Zoos.dk, to see how to write your own.

Hope that was simple enough ;)

yes toddy it was, what i meant was how do u actually put a review on to your site

You do that by sending it to the editor (me) me in an e-mail ;)

My address is: yakoksen@hotmail.com

Thank you m8, by the way he said going off thread here, u will be delighted to hear that the female aardvark at Colchester is due to give birth any day now.

Cool :D. This world needs more aardvarks ;). Didn't they have a baby at Colchester some months ago?

Randers Regnskov Tropical Zoo is the best place to go, if you want to see aardvarks

Hey Toddy... I've been trolling around the English section of your site... It very comphrensive...

Great stuff..!

Hi Toddy

Fantastic Site. I will attempt towrite a review or two for you (along with all my other zoo related tasks.....funny how a hobby takes over your life.....isn't it great!!).

By the way, I have seen the phillipine crocs at Bergen and they are very cool, even if the new croc. enclosures are a bit temporary (they have 10 or so new species....).

Cheers
Dean:)

Thanks. That's sounds great. An I guess for most of us, it's no much a hobby anymore, as it is a lifestyle :D

BTW, do you happen to have any pics from the crocs in Bergen?

I'm so glad to see that so many of you are interested in writing reviews for the site

Toddy, I can also do reviews for LA zoo and the Monterey bay aquarium. I've also started a review on Cannon hall Open Farm, as I went there on the 1st of January. Start as we mean to go on!!

Thanks for all your help Hornbill, i couldent have done it without you ;). You just choose which zoos you want to review, and send them to me. I'm happy to recieve anything :D

BTW, i will try to get three more reviews online soon

Yes, it's a fine review. I was just wondering if you could write a small conclusion on your reviews, eg. how the park is to visit. And would you recomend it to other zoo fans? Also, a few pictures would be nice, if you have them. The review and descriptions themselves are great though.

QUOTE: BTW, do you happen to have any pics from the crocs in Bergen? QUOTE

I do but they are not very good owing to combination of very bad light and rubbish (wire, aviary type) enclosures for the crocs. Mostly I took pictures of the signs as a record of what was there. Will see if any are worth posting or sending to you direct.

Cheers
Dean
