@Hyak_II you blow me away with the detailed knowledge you have of certain things but then again should I be anymore? No I choose to live in awe of you. More fun that way.
I am intrigued with Paprika being harness trained and well socialized with people. Maybe I can live out my fantasy of petting a red panda or at least feeding it. No, no dont dream. It will be crushing if it never happens and I dream of it. Never thought about it until I saw they do that at Zoo Australia. Since then I have been interested in the opportunity if it ever happened anywhere in Canada.
Interesting they wont go with keepers. I thought the majority if bigger, and medium sized mammals did go with a keeper to help with transition. Is it just the biggest ones and most socially complex?
Toronto could house 3 adults as they did awhile back when we had Ralphie, Cassie and I want to say Kayah... something with a K. We may have had 4 adults at one time in the past but that would be a very distant past and probably wouldnt be allowed today due to space requirements. Its not like the barn or exhibit has had a major up date in forever. It wouldnt even be hard to house all three. Adira is still living with Suva so they can still be kept together.
