First off love the names, ideally those names would be attached to llamas but I'll accept them as armadillos since we don't have llamas anymore. Kronk is especially adorable
Very interesting we got males from two different species, I was hoping we'd get a breeding pair but honestly I can't complain, these are the zoo's first armadillos ever so it's great just to have them.
The one thing that stuck out to me is that the zoo says they won't be on display until spring and they won't confirm what exhibit they'll be in. Not on exhibit til spring implies they'll be outside. Maybe they're gonna take up residence in the capybara exhibit? Or maybe the zoo is gonna surprise us over the winter and build them a brand new exhibit in time for the 50th? Lord knows there's more than enough room in Americas for one. Either that or they end up in the Kids Zoo which would be disappointing
EDIT: I just checked the zoo's instagram, it says the armadillos will be in the Discovery Zone. It also says that the keepers will occasionally be taking them out on tours of the zoo for guests to encounter while they wait for their new home to be ready, so might be a good idea to keep your eyes peeled for them on visits this winter
