Visitors to the TZ was up 46% in the first six months of 2012 and the TZ attributed it to Hudson, the baby penguins, baby lemur and white lions. My sarcasm comes from my frustration that the TZ has in the past inadequately advertised its successes. One example of many I could give, the TZ did not advertise the birth of the snow leopards or announce when they'd be on exhibit. Since the TZ needs money why they wouldn't advertise their births and let everyone know when they can see them on exhibit is beyond me! So while I'm thrilled that the TZ has finally realized that advertising their successes works to get people to the TZ, I only wish they'd realized it earlier.
