Winter is here again and the snow has finally started. For me that means that the next trip to the zoo will likely be far off waiting for spring to sort things out. That got me wondering however about what the zoo is like in winter. I know the zoo has reduced hours during the winter and a lot of animals are probably off display, but that got me wondering a few things.
Are most outdoor animals off display now? Do some outdoor animals stay on display year round even in winter? If so, is there interesting behavior you can only see during the winter from them that you can't see during the rest of the year? Thanks to anyone who might have some answers to these questions.
