I spent an afternoon out at TWRZ last Thursday. Very enjoyable. I went back the next morning for a quick drive around. I was hoping that the siamangs would be displaying so my daughter could hear them, but unfortuantly it wasn't to be.
P.S. Loved seeing the bongos.
Nice photos boof, did you get to see the female Indian rhino?
looks like his horn is finally starting to grow....
years down the track and i still can't believe that WPZ actually imported this species.
so excited!
i certainly hope so. if werribee ever gets over its africa complex
yeup. i agree.
fortunately thats a given. since in about 3 years that exhibit is already going to be a little crowded. i have my money on logic prevailing and the females moving to werribee and melbourne keeping any non-breeding bulls born into the program.
my ideal would be for werribee to keep its current safari bus tour that runs through predominantly african exhibits and build a second asian themed safari that operates with a differnt means of transportation from a different location. ie - an indian river safari or a train..
we have all the indian animals already...
I wish you were running our zoo's Phoenix![]()
