I'd say they all have to close after that speech?
Linton would always have been a good bet for the sweepstake suggested earlier, as they weren't due to open again until Saturday anyway! Weekday opening was due to start again from next weekOnly large collections I can see that haven't announced their closed are Hamerton, Linton and South Lakes.
Linton has updated website today. Anywhere not declared closed yet?Linton would always have been a good bet for the sweepstake suggested earlier, as they weren't due to open again until Saturday anyway! Weekday opening was due to start again from next week
Not that I have seen. I think Linton are a bit relaxed with their announcements; until a couple of hours ago, it was still Christmas on their facebook page.Linton has updated website today. Anywhere not declared closed yet?
It is on their website, please don't bother with petty criticism at a time like this!!Not that I have seen. I think Linton are a bit relaxed with their announcements; until a couple of hours ago, it was still Christmas on their facebook page.
No misunderstanding! You criticised Facebook for not being up to date! The website is up to date so don't see a problem! Website first, then Facebook is my way, I don't even have an account!petty criticism?
FBW?
No need to explain, obviously you've misunderstood me.
I only glanced over that story, but there isn't much comment on how the animals are adjusting. It does make me wonder though; if a zoo the size of Chester is closed for six months, how would different animals react to a sudden influx of visitors?
It might be the other way round, with collections restricting breeding to avoid extra mouths to feed and the possible difficulty of moving young animals on.For the zoochat statistic lovers out there, I had a thought today whilst viewing some of the webcams across various collections and wondered if there is any mileage in it.....
* Could there be a study done tallying how many births and successful rearings of young there will be during the Covid Crisis? There will obviously be other factors such as weather, stock etc etc, but perhaps interesting to see if a lack of public interference is good for breeding?
