Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens Visiting

Sounds like you think she'd match the curtains! :D

'If they're gonna put a female pygmy hippo calf by the window they'll need to move the lamp to the other end of the mantel or the whole room will look overbalanced...'
Ha that's amazing :D
This park certainly looks good now, what with the wolverine and others.

kk get it now! wouldnt make a very comfy sofa now would it!
Oh I don`t know was watching a program about a couple from some where in Africa that share their house with a fully grown Common Hippo only today, but cannot remember which channel it was or what the program was called!!

I know that clip! I'm pretty sure it's on youtube, very interesting.

That was all a bit.. sweet, if not eccentric. Especially when it got her asleep with a pillow and duvet.

A house trained hippo ... it won't get any more ridiculous than that would it not ... (LOL), next thing you know they will try her on nappies or a colostomy bag.

I remember not to long ago a zoo director of sorts in France had his head chopped of for loving a hippo too much. I just hope these folks realise in time they are messing with a wild animal. One should respect wild animals for who they are, not degrade them to some kind of Homo sapiens amphibius ... and do not get to natural like ... cause then us humans make you ...

Back to Cotswold topic: 6 more Morelett's croc hatched recently.

Perhaps, now the Reptile TAG might get interested to set a programme up with the Mexican authorities and those in European zoos (and please stick in the few left in US zoos which are even more spread out)!!!

It wasn't Zoo La Fleche was it? In almost every photo/postcard I have ever seen of it the owner(?) is interacting with the animals circus -style(Lion,Tiger,Bears, Leopard, Wolves,Hippo etc).
