Avifauna has revealed they will be building a new, large vulture aviary in the park for the Rueppel's griffon vultures.
This aviary will also be housing the secretarybirds and Southern ground hornbills too, it can be assumed some other African birds from the zoo will also be moving here. They are also looking into the possibility of adding a species of mammal.
In addition, there will also be a new enclosure for meerkats and a small playground.

The new aviary will be placed between the penguin enclosure, the emu enclosure, and Kamchatka (Steller sea eagle aviary). Part of the emu enclosure will be demolished.
You can see it here on the map:
Something else that is visible on the map, but not officially stated is that there might be a new aviary coming to the pelican lake, possibly to hold the free-roaming birds of this area during bird flu.
Also revealed by the map is part of the design of the new aviary. It seems we will be getting a tunnel aviary, similar to the design of the vulture aviary in Ouwehands dierenpark. Sad to see it will not be a full walkthrough but I am glad it will be specifically designed to be immersive. Certainly better than GaiaZOO's decision if you ask me...
