Vogelpark Avifauna Vogelpark Avifauna news

Actu'zoo are reporting that there is a group of confiscated lesser bird of paradise behind the scenes that were taken in at the end of last year, can anyone confirm?

They are also mentioned on ZTL so I guess its correct ( BTW heared already earlier rumors about it ).

It is not a rumour there are lesser birds of paradise behind the scenes. They are indeed confiscated birds. It has been mentioned in some other topics here on zoochat if I m correct.

A simple question (I hope) What it's the size for this park?
Thank you very much in advance! ;)

Ok as far as I'm aware there were 36 birds stolen.
The species I know were taken were Luzon rufous hornbills, Visayan tarictic hornbills, a wreathed hornbill, wrinkled hornbills, white-crowned hornbills, silvery-cheeked hornbills, royal starlings, toco toucans, great blue turaco, green aracari, Von der Decken's hornbill, Sulawesi tarictic hornbill, Mindanao bleeding-heart dove, hawk-headed parrot, citron-crested cockatoo and 'Dumont mynah' (not sure if that's the name). Anyone help with adding some of the other species taken?

1 - Yellow-eyed Mynah (Mino dumontii)
3 - Mindanao Bleeding heart (Gallicolumba criniger)
4 - Green Jay (Cyanocorax yncas)
5 - Philippine cockatoo
7 - Green cheeked amazon

Egg of Rüppel's vulture has disappeared but another vulture laid an egg : the White-headed vulture :).

They are still quite rare and they don't breed like -for example Zebra finches so it is very difficult to get some and they are also not the easiest birds to keep !
