Chester Zoo Walk and Talk with the Curator of Mammals on the 6/7/2013

All places still filled and at present no drop outs, which is a first for me at the moment,so will still have a waiting list just in case!

Finally got my train ticket, will be arriving in Chester at ten past ten, will that give me enough time to get to the zoo for the start of the walk and talk?
Also, how much are we expected to donate? It's the weekend before I get paid so funds may be tight so I need to budget accordingly...

If using public transport then I'd advise getting an earlier train if possible - The bus from bus station to the zoo alone is around 15 mins (and you still have to get into town before that)

However if you are planning to take a taxi from the train station then you should be fine providing you don't get delayed on the train

Good luck and hope everyone who is going has a great day :)

I would suggest getting a taxi would get you to the zoo in time,if you book your ticket online so you can just walk straight in!As for the donation its a case of what you think, its worth given that Tim gives his time freely and will answer almost any question, about the animals in his and his staff's care, and all of the donations will be going towards the current EAZA campaign!

Ok, cool. Any ideas on how much a taxi costs then? I did look at the bus link but that won't get me there before 10.30. Regarding the donation, I'll just bring as much as I can.
