Many thanks to “zoogiraffe” for organising such a successful event; many thanks, especially, to the Curator of Mammals, Tim Rowlands, for such giving us his time and providing so much interesting information.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable day that provided a great opportunity to meet up with old friends and also meet some other ZooChat members for the first time; I’m now able to put faces to various people who hitherto had only been names.

Thanks again to everybody involved.

We really enjoyed it. The weather was good and the day was very informative... Hope Tim got the info he was after and thankyou for letting us bring Lexi May!! Was nice to see people and meet a few new people so thankyou to Zoogiraffe and Tim .... And chester zoo (and claire for giving up time on her day off!) Hopefully won't be too long until the next.

Thanks to ZG, Tim Rowlands and Claire - giving up her weekend break for us - for making this Walk and Talk a resounding success.

It was nice to see old pals again and make up for lost time. And as ever nice to walk around Chester zoo. Weather was fine too, all be it quite tellingly hot.

Those questions Tim put in at the end were meant with a reason!
