Warthogs in mixed exhibits

Has anyone ever seen warthogs mixed with anything? I wonder how they get along with other species.

Franklin Park mixes Warthogs with African Crested Porcupines. Around 15% of the exhibit is accessible to the porcupines only, which gives them a safe space to go to avoid conflict with the warthogs.

Osnabrück keeps them in an enclosure with Diana Monkeys or at least did in the past.

I've seen them with Bat-eared Foxes before, but I think that mix is no longer.

I've heard this one can work or not work depending on the individuals involved. Read several reports of warthogs repeatedly ending up quilled by the porcupines due to curiosity and aggression.

My concern with mixing suids with other species is that they tend to plough up the enclosure, rootling around, so quickly hoofstock paddocks become a muddy wasteland.

Tierpark Hagenbeck in Hamburg keeps warthogs on the African panorama exhibit with zebras and ostrich since many years.

Chester used to keep them with banded mongoose.
@bongorob is correct, of course. Here is some evidence from 10 years ago.

Interesting, I do not recall that mix at all despite it being decently recent. Why did the mongoose leave?

Tulsa Zoo has warthogs in a mixed-species white rhino habitat that also includes I believe nyala, springbok, grey crowned cranes, and white storks. There's multiple attached yards and the rhinos can't access all of them, but the warthogs can share space with them if they want.

They don't eat the birds' eggs? Or are those not ground nesting birds?

I'm sure they would if the birds chose to nest on the ground. Warthogs have been implicated in killing various bird species in captive conditions so its not a great mix regardless.

I’m sure they would, but like I said there are multiple adjoining yards so I’m pretty sure the warthogs can be excluded from the main yard where the birds hang out if necessary. I’d still be concerned about them injuring birds myself but I don’t know enough about the exhibit or the animals to judge either way.
