what did you do in sweden?

My one trip to Sweden was as a Leader at the World Scout Jamboree in 2011, so it was almost all spent in one very large Swedish field! However, I did take the opportunity to go on an ecological visit to parts of Skane on one day.

Turkey (grew up there, :| I traveled to many corners of the country however)
USA (I have relatives there so I have been to a few visits before I went there for college)
France (A trip that happened after my dad remarried, tends to get in the back of my mind)
Netherlands (A trip so great that I tried to pretend being dead to avoid returning to Turkey.)
Belgium (First visit was to Bruge during the Netherlands visit. The second was during the Germany trip.)
Germany (The main purpose was Zoo berlin and Cologne zoo. I didn't know about Tierpark Berlin so I didn't plan about that either.)
Switzerland (Went there to participate for a choir festival)
Greece (For some reason the one place in Turkey where I could take a GED test [laugh all you want and call me an ignoramus idc (I lied I am sort of insecure about it)] did not respond to me and my mom when we tried to contact them. Athens was still nice however)
Japan (I never knew it would have happened)

Waited in UAE for hours for a transfer flight.

I forgot to mention the one moment when I went to Batumi for dinner during my tour of the black see with my dad.

I wish I could go to more places, but these are the places I’ve been:
England (Live There)
Wales (School Residential)
France (Holiday)
Spain (Holiday, Majorca and Lanzarote)
Monaco (Holiday)

I know transits actualy don't count but when you can spot a Lifer on the airport-ground I somehow think it should count. This was the case for a few days when the plain from the Gambia made a stop-over at the Cape Verdian islands. On the island of Sal we had to leave the plain and we stayed about 1 hour at the airport. Here I saw an un-identified plover on the runway but it was to fast to see which species it was. A little later I was able to see several times Cape Verdian sparrows, a species which I tried to see already a few years ago but with no succes ( see Searching the Cape verdian sparrow...in the Netherlands ). This time I was however succesfull althrough the sparrows we to fast to take photos of it.... ( maybe a next time ;) ).

I have actually developed a system for recording bird sightings from transit stops on my main life list - instead of noting the country, I put the IATA airport code - covers me for all those times I can't leave the bird off the list but can't claim it as a visit to the country. :D
