This is what I love about ZooChat. It brings people together and allows folks to have shared experiences that they may not have had otherwise.Yesterday, I met @RatioTile I picked him and his mom up at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona where they had a layover. During their brief time in Arizona, I took them to Wildlife World Zoo so he could add new species to his life list. I really enjoyed meeting @RatioTile.
To be fair I have to agree because if it wasn't for Zoochat and the people I've met through the site then I wouldn't have seen half the things I've seen (damn you over reliance on public transport...), but you're still a cheeky sod all the same! This is what I love about ZooChat. It brings people together and allows folks to have shared experiences that they may not have had otherwise.
For example, many here have been a taxi for @Brum ... Though most only make that mistake once![]()
Had an amazing time talking to him, and he showed us around the new Pangolin trail!
I'm going in September for my honeymoon. Would be nice to day hi!Wish I had more time to show ya around more but definitely was glad to run into you on that day as well!
Since I'm in this thread, I've managed to meet quite a lot of ZooChatters actually. Several of them actually gave me even more appreciation for the species at Mandai.
Aside from Dr. Wolverine above, @Nadchew_, @PangolinLover0514, @honeybadger, @Sicarius and @Jurek7 are the ones I've had the pleasure of meeting so far.
Hopefully will be able to run into more of the lovely folks here someday and especially be able to help out if possible.
And as stated here, I met up with @Rizz Carlton a couple of times now, and by "some" he means threeI have met @Mossman Joe twice, who had accompanied with me for a trip to a local bird market and have make it possible for me to see and photograph some very interesting species of herps that he happens to have!
