Who and how many zoochatters have you met?

I have not met anyone yet! I think I've met at least one future zoochatter though. If anyone is in Chicago though, I'd love to try to work something out. Lincoln Park is easy for me on public transportation.

Yesterday, I met @RatioTile I picked him and his mom up at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona where they had a layover. During their brief time in Arizona, I took them to Wildlife World Zoo so he could add new species to his life list. I really enjoyed meeting @RatioTile.
This is what I love about ZooChat. It brings people together and allows folks to have shared experiences that they may not have had otherwise.

For example, many here have been a taxi for @Brum ... Though most only make that mistake once ;)

To be fair I have to agree because if it wasn't for Zoochat and the people I've met through the site then I wouldn't have seen half the things I've seen (damn you over reliance on public transport...), but you're still a cheeky sod all the same! :p

I overheard someone ask a keeper at River Wonders about the whereabouts of their African dwarf crocodile last year. I don't know whether the person actually was a zoochatter or not but he was definitely zoochatter coded

I've met someone last year. We started chatting randomly at an enclosure and then we happened to drop to what zoo's we went during a specific period, and he's like "are you this person??" which I am, but then I didn't ask who they were here on the forum, lol.

When I went to Belfast Zoo near the end of June, I met someone who was interested in seeing the lions and elephants specifically while not ignoring the other species around them. We had a short but pleasant conversation about some animals and the enclosures. He's most likely a zoo enthusiast although I wonder if he's part of the site.

Had an amazing time talking to him, and he showed us around the new Pangolin trail!

Wish I had more time to show ya around more but definitely was glad to run into you on that day as well!

Since I'm in this thread, I've managed to meet quite a lot of ZooChatters actually. Several of them actually gave me even more appreciation for the species at Mandai.

Aside from Dr. Wolverine above, @Nadchew_, @PangolinLover0514, @honeybadger, @Sicarius and @Jurek7 are the ones I've had the pleasure of meeting so far.

Hopefully will be able to run into more of the lovely folks here someday and especially be able to help out if possible.

I've invited @kevin moses santosa here, we've been close friends for a few years now

I've had the pleasure of accompanying for a short while @Sicarius when he was in Indonesia, as well as meeting @snowleopard and @twilighter during the last day of touring East Java

I have met @Mossman Joe twice, who had accompanied with me for a trip to a local bird market and have make it possible for me to see and photograph some very interesting species of herps that he happens to have!
And as stated here, I met up with @Rizz Carlton a couple of times now, and by "some" he means three :p

i'v not met anyone yet but there was someone my last vist to perth zoo that i'm pretty sure is on here just from over hearing them talk to zoo staff.

Today I had the absolute pleasure of meeting @pangolin12 at Manchester Museum. It was good to finally meet someone, particularly of my own age with an interest in zoos and we spent the duration of the visit having a good old natter about everything zoo related.

I have had the pleasure of meeting zoolad, who came to Strathmorezoo to pick up a cock Green Aracari. He is obviously a very keen and dedicated bird keeper. He was also instrumental in me being able to obtain a new pair of Green Aracari. Although, I have never met Alwaysevergreen, I have had several telephone conversations with him. Who knows, one day we may actually meet.
