WRS Mandai expansion plans

I saw the list of animals I would like them to add more interesting animals, like new langur from Vietnam and Laos, or animals from the Philippines, Papua New Guinea.
They acquired Philippine crocodiles, Visayan spotted deer and more northern cassowaries for Rainforest Wild

I mean, if the Night Safari has sloth bear, Rainforest Wild'll have the sun bears and River Wonders has giant panda, the current sun bear enclosure at the Zoo might suit Andean bears pretty well...
Would be really awesome to see Andean bears but probably very unlikely to happen

Are there going to be Asian Elephants in RW Asia?
Probably not, the Zoo and Night Safari'll be the hubs for Asian elephants for the forseeable future - the Zoo'll build a new elephant space where KidzWorld was, and the Night Safari's consolidating Chawang and Sang Wira's exhibits so Sang Wira has more room. They moved Chawang to a new space where the Asian black bears once were (honestly wouldn't see *that* on a zoo futures bingo card). I'm unsure about the female elephant habitat in Night Safari, I thought that was getting expanded as well, but by how much is the question.

The female elephant exhibit at Night Safari was not expanded, but a new back of house stable with a small yard was built. There's also a new back of house enclosure adjoining Chawang's new exhibit that is pretty spacious. And all the elephant facilities are connected via chutes

Do the chutes go under the tram road? If so, that's a really inventive way of building an elephant complex!

Let’s go, they’ve announced it. Although the only thing that it says on the article that confuses me, is it says there will be 29 iconic species. Is that 29 species for the whole park, or just major species, such as tigers, etc?
