It's time to revisit my list! Since making this list I have seen Siberian musk deer in San Diego and Australian brush turkeys at Wildlife World Zoo.
I'm going to redesign my list, and this time stick to species that can be seen within my geographical region, ie North America. If a species can be found in multiple places, I'll list the closest or most likely for me to get to. Here goes:
Tasmanian Wombat - Rio Grande Zoo
Yapok - Dallas World Aquarium (although apparently not presently)
Three-toed Sloth - Dallas World Aquarium
Aye-Aye - Denver Zoo
Potto - Cincinnati Zoo
Red Uakari - Los Angeles (though not on show)
Red Howler Monkey - Dallas World Aquarium
Western Hoolock Gibbon - Gibbon Conservaton Center
African Palm Civet - San Antonio Zoo
Fanaloka - Capital of Texas Zoo
Ring-tailed Mongoose - Bronx Zoo
Red Wolf - Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium
Bush Dog - Oklahoma City Zoo

Wolverine - Northwest Trek
Giant Otter - Los Angeles Zoo

Vicuna - Assiniboine Park Zoo

Hmm...it would appear I need to make a trip to Dallas.
