Is there anyone I can reach out to regarding Mbali, Okoa, and Uma's family tree. One of their first litters was sent to my zoo (Cabara and Catali) and I am trying to put together Cabara's family tree. However, I don't know the names/locations of all of her brothers and sisters. I'm looking for each cub born in Mbali's 9(?) litters. My internet research has only gotten me so far...
This is what I found (mostly on the homepage of Zoo Basel) and the knowledge of my friend:

Catali (1m/1f), mother is presumably Okoa (on the homepage it says "In contrast to the cub which was born not viable to Mum Okoa (3), the two cubs from the second litter are thriving"). --> both of them Saint-Louis?

11.06.2007 - four cubs, not clear who is the mother Okoa or Cora.
(In the zoo's first post they are talking of four cubs, later on there is a cryptic post about why it sometimes is necessary, to euthanize Zoo animals and later on they state "the two young cubs, which were born on June 11th are named
Eisi and
Eruba") --> Eisi, Salzburg (via a Danish Zoo?), Eruba "a Zoo in the US"

Kweli,
Kali und
Kibonge - unknown who belongs to which mother. Three of them went to a Safari Parc in Givskud (Denmark) and one of them went to Zlin, Czech Republic.

28.05. & 15.06.2015 Okoa, two cubs - Uma, one cub -->
Majo,
Motshegetsi &
Makani
Majo & Motseghetsi both went to Leipzig
Motseghetsi and Majo were transferred to Leipzig. On 30.09.2016 they escaped their enclosure. Not sure they know by now how they did it. While the keepers were able to convince Majo to return to the enclosure, but Motshegetsi, after three shots of narcotics, didn't. So they shot him.
Majo still lives there together with Kigali.
2019 5 cubs, born viable, but Kigali attacked them and 2 died
--> Hanna, Elsa und Mateo (2f/1m). were transferred to Berlin
2021 --> Jasira, Juma, Kossi und Kiyan (2f/2m)
--> Kiyan left in direction of Croatia
--> Kossi went to Boras, Sweden
--> I did not find any info about Jasira and Juma. They are about to leave Leipzig, if they haven't already (Leipzig seems to want another litter badly?)

Nikisha (both females) - they still live here in Basel. It is unknown, if and when Basel will receive a new male.

Somehow I ended up only finding 15 of 18 cubs?
My friend also spoke of a Female called "Aruba". The "A"-year was 2003 (in Basel the names of the animals are bound to start with the same letter each year. 2022 is the letter "T").
And she also said that one of the lions was tranferred to Riga.
Did you contact Zoo Basel already? They know best, how the cubs were named and where they went to.
