Chester Zoo Zoo Days

I wonder if they pulled today's planned episode because of developments at the Zoo. I missed yesterday's instalment (traffic delays on the M56) - what was trailed? For example, as the giraffe house was closed I wonder if the little giraffe calf could be be in trouble?

I doubt they pulled it because of that because tejas left at the end of Janruary, so the shows probably over as they would of stop filming for the current season a month ago so they could start editing.

It looks like they are filming a third series then

it looked like they where filming a Geoffrey's Marmoset today. it wa in a small transport cage going back into the main enclouser possible had been ill because the vet was there

I have next weeks Radio Times and it seems all the Zoo Days next week are repeats.

there were no trailers at the end of Tues episode - so I think that was the last of the series for now.

Five have messed around with the scheduling showing old episodes before and after the new series; but i guess it shows that it is a popular series and will continue with a 3rd, 4th, 5th series etc.

I spent some time yesterday with the some of team that does the filming in chester zoo and it was really interesting. There are two teams of 2 people, shooting in the zoo most days through they year. They film loads of different animals but its the folks down at five HQ that choose what goes on the show.

They have the best job ever! Although apparently they go home stinking of animal poo and spray!

Zoo Days from Colchester is to be broadcast starting on 9th June. Last week the tv people were still at Chester.

So the fourth series is at Chester then. The series about Monkey World is what is currently been shown in the timeslot.

when does the next series at chester start? I read that it was supposed to have started on 29th september but that's been and gone and no zoo days

It starts in October, I don't know the exact date but if the schedule is anything like 2007 it will be the 13th. The September date was obviously changed.

colchester website says they have a new series in october too. Saw them filming it when i was there end of august

Just found a new piece on colchesters website saying that they finish filming 10th October and the series will be on sometime this autumn.
It will be covering all the big stories like Katavi the cheetah cub and the orangutans moving home

Yuo mean I'm not the only one who got bored with the constant exposure given to Tejas?

I'v emailed channel 5 to ask for the start date of the next series of Zoo Days. They have not yet decided on a start date, but their listings show no Zoo Days before 20th October at the earleist.
