Based on the names of the Dholes from their Facebook post from July 18th, they’re coming from the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. It seems to match the individuals in the NA Dhole Population list.

Will there be any males coming to the zoo? Why it is taking so long they announced the names of the dholes and it has been already 4 months? The mother in San Diego zoo that gave birth to 10 dholes did a good job, 7 females and 3 males. Which 3 of these females will come with the previous female cub that she gave birth

Unknown if there are new males are coming in. The population is very related as it is so imports would be needed if allowed.

Do they want to breed? I was under the impression that since no one really wants to work with the species, breeding wouldn't be continued.

I don’t know if any planned at all. I was saying how closely related the population out here is :/

I do not know if someone announced it but the zoo acquired a new male Japan saro. His name is Shmo, the zoo said they do not want to breed but to enlarge the group of saro at the zoo. He is still in quarantine.
