In May 1 Chacoan peccary (Catagonus wagneri) was born, a zoo first breeding for Leipzig.
Sadly 20-year old male Snow leopard (Panthera uncia) Onjegin was euthanised in the same month.

At the start of this month 3-year old male Northern koala (Phascolarctos cinereus cinereus) Yuma arrived from Zoo Duisburg. Also on EEP recommendations female Wooli was send to Zoo Beauval in May and soon 3-year old male Bouddi will also leave the zoo.

Sadly recently 18-year old female Siberian tiger (Panthera tigris altaica) Bella passed away under anesthesia.

The zoo has announced that they have obtained Northern dry zone slender loris on their instagram story. The lorises reside at the elephant temple.

According to ZooTierListe the breeding pair of lorises arrived from Frankfurt
Turns out the zoo revealed the slender lorises on last week’s episode of Elephant Tiger und Co.
 
Recently 4 Southeast african lions (Panthera leo krugeri) were born to female Kigali.

They have recently been sexed, one female and three males.

On the 31st of August an Ocelot (Leopardus pardalis) was born.

On the 17th of September a male Malayan tapir (Tapirus indicus) was born to female Laila. Sadly the condition of the young deteriorated rapidly and the breathing became irregular, therefore the hard decision was made to euthanise the young.
