@Kharzo and I visited the zoo yesterday and we saw a juvenile northern greater galago.
- Also, the male caracal was separated from the female and her cubs and temporarily moved to the former clouded leopard exhibit.
- The boreal owl and Eurasian pygmy owl aviaries were empty, the signs were also gone.
+ EDIT: The little owls are also not signed anymore and their nesting boxes were switched for different ones, not suited for this species.
- The reconstruction of the row of aviaries above La Pampa is mostly finished. The white-necked ravens were moved bts, their aviary is now occupied by two crested caracaras. Those used to share space with Andean condors until not so long ago.
- Visayan warty pigs will move to a new exhibit. The spotted deer exhibit is getting split in two and the pigs are going to be moved there. I don't know the plans for their former enclosure, but I think this decision is quite logical, because it could finally stop visitors from petting and feeding them...
