Where did you see the flying fox? I was under the assumption that they were off show (due to covid) inside the tropical house? I was able too see the other 4 bat species held at the collection.
There are always some at the far end of the tropical house(closed) , I saw at least 4 through the glass.
Looks like you missed out, but I slipped up on the Seba's, I saw the house was closed & didn't realise you could see them from outside!

Ah, how annoying! I did try and have a look into the TH, but the planting is very dense... maybe next time!

First update in a loooong time, and a species I'm not quite sure how I've missed...

Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park (6/8/20)

22. Azara's Agouti
Not sure why I'm still going since 2020 has been a bit of a write-off but sod it, I'm invested now! :p

23. Livingstone's Fruit Bat
24. Goodfellow's Tree Kangroo

You can probably guess that I visited Bristol today and unfortunately the Nocturnal House is closed at the minute. Sort of put a dampener on me even getting an okay score, and I missed out on some fairly juicy species to add as well... :(

2 more to add today from Noah's, plus one I thought I had already but was seen last year.

Bristol 14/10
25. Six-banded Armadillo

NAZF 15/10
26. Black-tailed Prairie Marmotp
27. Domestic Rabbit (ironic that it's taken me this long to see one considering I live with a bunny!)

Is the Clore open again now then? If so then I may pay a visit next week. Been a while since I visited, Antsangy could just pull me back! :p:)

The Clore has been open for a while, just the nocturnal areas (downstairs and the little alcove where the aye-ayes, and now also the antsangy, are) have been off limits. Downstairs is now open again, the alcove was still blocked off when I visited but I managed to peek in and spot an antsangy having a scratch on top of a log stump! :)

Cheers, London is definitely on the table then. :)
