I have just depressed myself by working out where I need to go to get everything possible on the list, and it's a silly number spanning every corner of the country. Plus I am absolutely smacking myself in the face for missing the Blue-crowned motmot at Paignton as according to ZTL, it is not found anywhere else. Gargh!

I've been to Paignton a couple of times over the last few years, and I didn't even know they had one... I've never seen it at any rate.

I wouldn't worry, to get all of them , someone would have to be seriously obsessed with winning ! I've looked at the ones I haven’t got and to get 36 more I need to visit at least 18 zoos as wide apart as Highland wildlife Park, Paignton, Port Lympne. I might go to the other 2 but HWP isn't a possibility ( or Edinburgh which is another 2 species! )
 
Indeed. Whilst I plan on a zoo trip to Scotland sometime, it's not going to be this year. I take heart in Dormitator's comment about the Motmot at Paignton, too. I am merely delighted to have seen the echidna, so I am not disappointed with my trip there.

@MagpieGoose where did you find the Crimson Rosella at Hoo Farm? I could only find Eastern's in Parrots of the Caribbean [*shudders at pun*].

If there was any clarification about domestic/vs. wild helmeted guinea fowl what would be great as well!
