I made this thread for learning which zoos are good at breeding certain species. For example the Bronx has for years been really good at breeding snow leopards.
Also Indian rhino, cheetah, grey kangaroo, and a number of other hoofstock species including okapi, Somali Wild Ass, and Grevy’s ZebraSan Diego Zoo Safari Park for White Rhino, African Elephant, Masai and Reticulated Giraffe, and any bovid species

SDZSF: Milky Stork, Sumatran Tiger, Platypus (outside of Australia), Lesser Flamingos,(specific bovids): Bighorn sheep, Hatrmans Mountain Zebra (also maybe Animal Kingdom), Nubian Ibex, Grevys Zebra, Persian Onager, Fringe Eared Oryx, Nile Lechwe, Cape Buffalo, Somali Wild Ass, Javan Banteng, Arabian Oryx, Prezwalskis Horse.Also Indian rhino, cheetah, grey kangaroo, and a number of other hoofstock species including okapi, Somali Wild Ass, and Grevy’s Zebra

Considering they have never bred platypus and probably won’t for the foreseeable future since their female is too old for breeding and related to their male, I definitely wouldn’t say they lead in breeding the species.Platypus (outside of Australia)
