Male from Veszprem and the females from Hodenhagen
Any ideas where from ??
Something else quite interesting that I noticed on the 2016 animal inventory that I haven't seen being mentioned anywhere are two female narrow-striped mongooses (or boky-boky if you prefer). I'm guessing they aren't on show yet and could have been the two formerly at RSCC?
EDIT: To save trawling around trying to find the inventory, I'm going to attach it here.

I doubt there's too much chance of another empty enclosure, Whipsnade held 11 cheetahs at 1/1/16 according to the 2016 inventory.
Does anyone have any memory of Indian rhinos for a brief spell on the Cotton Terraces in the 90s? I'm almost certain I remember them there, presumably on holiday from Whipsnade, but I'd like to have it confirmed that I'm not going mad...
The three female lions (Ruby, Heidi and Indi) can now be seen exactly where they used to be above the moat, as some of the hoarding has been taken away for a clear view. When the male arrives from Winnipeg he will be in quarantine for 6 months in the other section opposite the back of BUGS, so he will be on show but not with the females.
I wouldn't describe it as a clear view but yes you can see the three lionesses at times but you could find they will be inside or lying in the corner out of sight.
