I talked about to a member of staff when I was there, so unless she hadn't heard about it and didnt want to reveal ignorance I'm confident it's true.
An aye-aye was born at London in July, it is mentioned in the Summer 2016 edition of Zoo Grapevine the IZES magazine
Shame on you, Sooty! Our news source is much more reliable than that!Yes - that was what prompted my question, actually. I'm not sure what the IZES source is - it could just be Zoochat, possibly....
Worth mentioning that multiple members of staff at the zoo (keepers, info kiosk and volunteers) denied all knowledge of a baby aye-aye during my visit yesterday.Shame on you, Sooty! Our news source is much more reliable than that!

Absolutely, this is often the case with "sensitive" births. It is also worth mentioning that the zoo may not be ready to announce it 'publicly' just yet and therefore could have informed the volunteers not to say anything about it?
Visited today. Bhanu was in the main paddock with Heidi and Indi, whilst Rubi was in the 'station' paddock. Later on, the three girls were in the 'station' paddock and Bhanu was fully walking around the main paddock, up to the sheltered 'hut' and the waterfront, before being sent back inside after a good hour or so. Good to see him in with the girls, who seemed very interested in and friendly with him! Not sure why Rubi wasn't in there, perhaps not as keen as the other girls.
Let's hope he mates with them soon!
My guess would be that if Rubi continues to stay separated, she will be introduced to the Indian couple when they finally arrive (no idea when) and the twins will remain with Bhanu.
What species are we talking about...?

Also is it a good time to visit or am I better waiting for a bit?
