Hey everyone I have recently (and by recent I mean yesterday) visited London zoo for their lodge experience so I spent two days at London zoo as it was my first time visiting the zoo and wanted to see what it was like as its world famous with a lot of history.
First of all the lodge experience was brilliant and very informative I saw a lot of animals animals during the tours such as the male cape porcupine whose name is Henning which was fun and was also told by one of the keepers that a female porcupine had joined the zoo a couple of weeks ago so that they can get breed the two of them. Also on the tour was a talk about the lions at the zoo which was interesting and then discussing about the old penguin pool and then we went to the nocturnal house which was great as the pottos were active specially seeming it was daytime in their exhibit but nonetheless still very cool to see.
Then it was dinner which was good but the name of the dinner I forgot what its called but its just chicken with some vegetables oh my view was of the Mappin terraces so that was nice. After dinner we went to the bugs house and had 15 minutes just to roam around and see whatever we wanted then after that we went into the caisson pavilion for a backstage look which was cool then then we went to bed.
The next day we we went on the final tour which was started by feeding the penguins which was fun then we went to see the colobus monkeys which will be moving to the snowden aviary we then went to see the komodo dragon and the giant tortoises which will be moving into a new enclosure which will be on the field next to the display field.
Anyway the zoo was really good in my opinion I think London zoo is way better then Bristol zoo which is sadly closing down but anyway that's my thoughts on the experience
